billboard
This project challenged me to translate a message into a bold, highly visible design that could communicate effectively from a distance. The concept was developed with consideration for audience, environment, visual hierarchy, and brand identity.
cards
Card design requires balancing limited space with clear communication. This project focused on creating a visually engaging piece while maintaining strong hierarchy, readability, and print specifications.

1. The Challenge
Develop a billboard advertisement for a modern restaurant that connects with a millennial audience while remaining approachable to a broader demographic. The design needed to communicate a sense of community, innovation, inclusivity, and mindful dining through a clean and contemporary visual direction.
2. The Audience - MILLENNIALS
Tech-savvy · Socially conscious · Community-driven · Experience-focused · Design-conscious
Millennials are highly connected consumers who value experiences, authenticity, inclusivity, sustainability, and brands that reflect their personal values. They are heavily influenced by social media and peer recommendations, making shareable and visually engaging experiences particularly important.
3. The Gap
The original advertisement didn't really speak to the intended audience.
The previous advertisement relied on a dark, traditional visual direction, messaging centered around disconnecting from technology, and imagery that did not strongly reflect the target audience's values. I saw an opportunity to reposition the restaurant as a modern, inclusive, experience-driven destination.
4. SETTING THE VISUAL DIRECTION
I developed a visual direction centered around modern minimalism, natural tones, modern typography, and an inviting sense of community. The goal was to create a restaurant experience that felt fresh, sophisticated, authentic, and shareable.

5. CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
A NEW KIND OF DINING
“A new kind of dining. Mindfully made. Minimalist. Modern.”
The concept positions the restaurant as more than a place to eat—it is an experience built around food, community, and connection. I used messaging such as “Where innovation meets inclusion” and “Food. Community. Vibes.” to reinforce the restaurant's modern and socially engaging identity.
6. FROM CONCEPT TO CAMPAIGN
The final design translates the research and art direction into a clean advertisement designed to capture attention quickly. The combination of bold messaging, modern typography, earth tones, and experience-driven language creates a visual identity that feels both youthful and sophisticated.
7. THE RESULT
The final concept shifts the restaurant's visual identity from traditional and disconnected to modern, inclusive, social, and experience-driven. The design was created to appeal primarily to millennials while remaining approachable to broader audiences through its emphasis on quality food, community, and atmosphere.
